Synopsis: Welcome

SYNOPSIS

An alien astronaut, Evena, crash lands onto planet Earth where an evolved species called "humans" dominate. The commander of this alien species sends Evena to find an in inhabitable planet for their species to live. The mission: to find a planet that "does not contain intelligent life." If so, the planet can and will be terraformed and destroyed to make suitable to inhabit as their new home.

Meanwhile on Earth two best friends, Luna Rigel and Naomi Portman, capture an image of Evena crash landing onto Earth. Luna believes in the existence of aliens and the paranormal while Naomi, a hopeful doctor and a skeptic, is always making scientific analyses of Luna's discoveries to debunk her work and thus return her to mainstream "science".

 

Soon the two young scientists will be intertwined with the alien astronaut, Evena.
 

 

Early in the the film, both teens become pawns in a larger conflict and come to trust only each other and a very few select people. The teens also discover an agenda of the government to keep the existence of extraterrestrial life a secret.

They develop a close relationship but by the end of the film are at odds over proven science verses spiritual existence of belief.

These two characters journey chronicle the pursuit of Evena that ends up in Luna being the first person on earth to make "First Contact".
