Secretary of State, Lieutenant Clint Lawrence, watches over both NASA and the CIA. His focus is to keep the United States territory safe from all outside invasions, including space. When he is called in to CIA headquarters, he decides the fate of Luna Rigel and the US.

Bob Boudreaux is a Vietnam veteran and former weekend news anchor for KTRK-TV in Houston, Texas. Boudreaux arrived in the United States Army through the Reserve Officers' Training Corps program, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. During his four years on active duty, Boudreaux flew with the 155th Assault Helicopter Company of the 1st Aviation Brigade in the Vietnam War. He attained the rank of Captain whilst serving as a flight instructor at the U.S. Army Primary Helicopter School.
